Pedestrian Check Hardesty Press Storage Building

Synopsis: While on routine patrol University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers initiated a pedestrian check on an individual who was sleeping in the entrance of the Hardesty Press building. The individual did not have any prior contacts on-file with Campus Security, or current warrants in Tulsa County. Officers issued a trespass ban and completed a contact card, while making sure the individual left the property before leaving the area.

Fire Alarm John Mabee Hall

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible fire alarm at John Mabee hall. Officers found the room using the fire panel. The room had candles burning but no smoke or fire. Tulsa Fire Department was not needed and were canceled.

Vandalism Lorton Village Apartments Parking Lot

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to Lorton Village parking lot for a report of a vandalized car. Officers met with the vehicle's owner and documented the vandalism of the car. Officers also discovered the front of their apartment which had also been defaced. The owner of the vehicle did not want to file a report with the Tulsa Police Department.

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible noise compliant in Brown Village apartments. Upon arrival Officers could hear noise coming from an apartment but the residents were not present so officers entered the apartment and turned off the source of the noise. A contact card was created.

Aggravated Assault with a vehicle Reynolds Center (DRC) Lot

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to the Reynolds Center parking lot in regards to a university employee hitting a contracted university parking attendant with their vehicle. Officers spoke with all parties involved and determined that the university employee deliberately hit the attendant with their vehicle. Tulsa Police were contacted. The attendant agreed to drop criminal charges after an apology was made by the university employee.

Synopsis: While on a special patrol University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were approached by an individual who appeared to be intoxicated while speaking with them the individual became upset. The individual became agitated and started acting aggressively toward officers. Officers informed the individual they would need to calm down or leave the event. The individual left the event.

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate an individual who fell off their rental scooter outside of the Donald W. Reynolds Center and appeared to be injured. Officers located the individual, who stated they hit their head on the concrete and scraped their elbow but did not need emergency care. The individual was not affiliated with the University of Tulsa. The individual signed a medical care refusal form, and proceeded to leave campus.

Upon arrival officers located the student who stated they could not move their leg. Officers requested Emergency Medical Service Authorities to the scene for a medical evaluation. EMSA arrived on scene and informed the student to seek medical assistance at a hospital. The student refused EMSA transport and signed a medical care refusal form.

Synopsis: While on routine patrol University of Tulsa Campus Officers were flagged down by a University of Tulsa student who reported having just been in a vehicle collision. The student stated that they had struck a vehicle while trying to park on S. Evanston Ave between S. 3rd St and S. 4th St. They left a note on the windshield of the vehicle which was determined to be owned by another student. The student was running late to class so they couldn't stay and talk with Officers but came back after class and filed out a statement Form. The other student was unable to be contacted.

Information H.A. Chapman Stadium

Synopsis: While on stadium patrol University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were approached by a juvenile who could not find their group they came to the football game with. Officers attempted to search for the group however were unable to locate them. The Communications Center contacted the Tulsa Police Department in order for them to take the juvenile to their home. The Tulsa Police Department picked up the juvenile and took them home.

Synopsis: While on routine patrol University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers conducted a traffic stop due to a vehicle driving on two flat tires and airbags already deployed. The driver stated they had hit the center island on Delaware. The vehicle was towed and no other emergency vehicle personal was contacted.

Noise Complaint Lorton Village Apartments

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible noise complaint in the Lorton Village Apartment complex. Upon arrival officers located the noise and made contact with the resident who was having a domestic verbal altercation with their significant other who was not affiliated with the University of Tulsa. Officers separated the individuals and confirmed there was no physical altercation. Officers informed the individuals that the non-resident would need to leave the campus for the evening. A housing contact card was created.

Injured Student Helmerich Hall

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to the North side of Helmrich Hall in regards to an injured student. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim laying on the ground. The victim suffered from a head injury due to falling off of a LIME-S motorized scooter. EMSA and TFD were contacted and evaluated the victim at the scene. The victim refused to be transported by EMSA and had a friend transport them to a local hospital.

Upon arrival Officers were told that the student fainted and hit their head shortly after giving blood. Emergency Medical Services Authority responded and checked the students vitals per the students request. The student declined further medical treatment. A university faculty member took the student to get something to eat and then to their residence.

Non Injury Motor Hit and Run Vehicle Accident University Square Apartments South

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible non injury hit and run motor vehicle accident in University Square Apartments South. Upon arrival Officers spoke with a TU student who stated that they had parked in the south east corner of the University Square Apartments South lot. When they came back and left in their vehicle they heard a grinding noise while driving. They checked their vehicle and noticed a large dent and some white paint exchange on the front passenger side of their vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
