Pedestrian Check Hardesty Press Storage Building

Synopsis: While on routine patrol University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers initiated a pedestrian check on an individual who was sleeping in the entrance of the Hardesty Press building. The individual did not have any prior contacts on-file with Campus Security, or current warrants in Tulsa County. Officers issued a trespass ban and completed a contact card, while making sure the individual left the property before leaving the area.

Disposition: Administratively cleared.

Fire Alarm John Mabee Hall

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible fire alarm at John Mabee hall. Officers found the room using the fire panel. The room had candles burning but no smoke or fire. Tulsa Fire Department was not needed and were canceled.

Disposition: Administratively cleared. A copy of this report has been forwarded to Housing, The Physical Plant and Student Affairs for their review.

Noise Complaint Brown Village Apartments

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible noise compliant in Brown Village apartments. Upon arrival Officers could hear noise coming from an apartment but the residents were not present so officers entered the apartment and turned off the source of the noise. A contact card was created.

Disposition: Administratively cleared. A copy of this report has been forwarded to Housing and Student Affairs for their review.

Found Property Lorton Performance Center

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to retrieve found property at the Lorton Performance Center. Upon arrival Officers were given a package containing socks, a bag containing pens, an insulated lunch bag, a backpack containing t shirts, a diaper bag, reading glasses, 2 aluminum water bottles, and a cane. The owner of the socks was determined and retrieved their property. The owner of the other items were unable to be determined or contacted so they were placed into the property locker for safe keeping.

Student Misconduct Fraud Allen Chapman Student Union

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers received a report of fraud at the student union. Officers were spoke with the University vendor The investigation is ongoing.

Noise Complaint Mayo Village Apartments

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to to investigate a possible noise compliant at Mayo Village Apartments. Upon arrival, officers could hear noise coming from an apartment and spoke with the resident. Officers asked the residents to turn the music down. A housing contact card was issued.

Panic Alarm West Park Apartments

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers responded to a panic alarm at the West Park Apartments. Officers discovered the alarm was accidentally set off by guests of the tenant. The tenant arrived and confirmed the guests were allowed in the apartment. Officers left without further incident.

Welfare Check Lorton Village Apartments

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to Lorton Village Apartments to check the welfare of a student. Officers made contact with the student who appeared to be in good health and they made contact with their family.

Fire Alarm Lottie Jane Mabee Hall

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible fire alarm at Lottie Jane Mabee Hall. The Tulsa Fire Department responded to the alarm. The cause of the fire alarm was an insect bomb being deployed by the tenants. The Department of Campus Housing was notified of the incident.

Pedestrian Check Lottie Jane Mabee Hall

Synopsis: University of Tulsa Campus Security Officers were dispatched to investigate a possible suspicious individual at the bike rack of Lottie Jane Hall. Security officers arrived and were able to question the individual about their activities on campus. The individual was forth coming with all the information requested. The individual had no open wants or warrants they were informed of the boundaries of campus and was trespass band.
