Officers met with a student at Mayo Village Apartments who reported they were a victim of fraud. The victim reported they received multiple phone calls from a suspect who posed to be with the Social Security Administration. The suspect told the victim to empty their bank account and deposit the money into a local automated teller machine. Officers advised the victim not to follow through with this and to keep their personal information confidential. The victim filed a report with the Tulsa Police Department online.
