Officers were dispatched to a panic alarm at the West Park Apartments. The Communications Center was informed by the resident that the alarm was activated after a power surge in the apartment and the resident had turned off the alarm. Officers made contact with the resident and their guest at the residence. Both parties were not in distress and a work order was requested for the panic alarm malfunctioning.
